The work centers on ambiguity and restraint; pieces that implicate the viewer rather than explain themselves to them. Writing sits underneath all of it: the foundational element, even when the final piece is a photograph, a video, or something built to stand in a room.
The foundation is literary; the practice is not confined to the page. A degree in English Literature laid down a habit of close reading that carries into how a frame, a cut, or a room gets built. The CULTUR.ED year at UM6P pushed that instinct outward; into residencies, documentary crews, and research fieldwork, where the same attention gets pointed at people and places instead of text.

Selected as part of the Olive Writers Residency, presented by the American Art Center and the Olive Writers Association; a residency for writers working across genres, dedicated to sustained, community-supported creative practice. Produced a short story that will be in the short stories collection book that will be published on November 2026.
